The Super Facialist: Una Brennan Cleansing Oil

Remember in my Current Skincare Routine post not long ago when I said I needed a new makeup remover? Well, the day that article went up, I went out and picked this little sucker up. I have not seen this widely available in Canadian stores but I thought it was making some big claims and thought it was worth the shot. This is Una Brennan’s the Super Facialist Vitamin C+ Skin Renew Cleansing Oil.

unabrennan1I tested this product right when I got home and was surrounded with this amazing flowery scent. It reminds me of my childhood and my parents garden and I am not even exaggerating.

The Super Facialist is the first part of a double cleanse routine. You use this to take off all of your makeup and then use another facial cleaner as a follow up. Literally right before my eyes, I watched the Super Facialist melt the makeup off of my skin in seconds. It was amazing and terrifying at the same time. You can then grab a wet muslin cloth and gently remove the oil or dampen your hands to massage and the oil will turn into a milky lotion. Either way I think this product works great.

It really is like having a facial when I am just cleansing my face. My skin is always super soft and my makeup washes away instantly. It it mild enough not to sting my eyes but strong enough to work on waterproof mascara, which is a bonus. Freshness in a bottle I’ll say.

Now that I know what Una Brennan brings to the table I will definitely be looking out for more of her line. Such a gem of a product.
