Valentines seemed to creep up on me yet again! But don’t worry I have the perfect lip guide for that special night with you loved one. Everyone usually goes for the reds on valentines but sometimes it can be too high maintenance. It is Valentines Day, just relax. Your loved one is with you for a reason. So keep it simple and try some of these easy application lip product.
I usually never wear gloss but Nars Super Orgasm is such a pretty, shimmery pink that I couldn’t resist not wearing it. I only use a little bit of this on my lips to get a healthy shine. It has little flecks of golden shimmer that make it extra special.
For something really natural and glowy I suggest YSL Rouge Volupte Shine in 13. This is a lipstick version of Super Orgasm but with a little less shimmer. I wear this lipstick all year round because it give a natural flush to the lips. It also isn’t difficult to put on without a mirror. Quick and easy.
If you want something quick and easy on a budget I suggest Revlon’s Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie. This gives a more deeper berry shade than the others but is still flirty and not too bold. It feels so soft and light on the lips that you wouldn’t mind giving your loved on a peck on the cheek and worrying about smudging.
If you want something with a bigger statement but don’t want to go full red lip I think the NYX Butter Glosses are a good alternative. This one is in Peaches and Cream. It is lighter and brighter than natural lip colours but it is very pigmented and light for a gloss.
For something that will stay all night I am going back to an old faithful, Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Lovesick. Not only is it light but it gives you a great wash of colour in one go and last until the morning after. You will not have to worry about transferring or touch ups because it will stain your lips all night. You are free to party all night.
I hope this helps some of you. I am doing a couple of makeup tutorials soon so watch out for them! A haul is coming up next! Stay tuned!
